1. London is a great place to be at Christmas! Every Christmas London gets a
present from Norway - a Christmas tree which is 23 metres high and has got 500
white lights.
2. At this time London is a great place to go shopping, nut the shops are very busy.
200 million people go to Oxford Street every year! There are a lot of shops there.
The most famous shops are Hamleys, Selfridges, Marks and Spencer and Tower
Records for music and CDs.
3. London is famous for its decoration at Christmas. Many people come to London
to see the Christmas lights. Every year an actor or pop star switches on the
Christmas lights in Regent Street and Oxford Street. The Christmas tree in
Trafalgar Square is always beautiful.
