Dear Alex,
In my last letter to you I wrote that I was planning to spend a week in England. Well, I have finally done it! I went on this trip of a lifetime two weeks ago. In fact there were 12 of us - pupils of our school and our teacher of English.
Now I can say I have been to London, I have seen its most famous landmarks: the Tower, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, the Queen’s London home - Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. I took hundreds of pictures (where I was allowed to take them).
We watched the world-famous Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
We also went to the British Museum where we saw Egyptian mummies, Greek vases, Roman and Chinese sculptures and many more interesting things.
I still feel excited and now I want to go to England once more. I want to see other English cities and towns as well. Would you like to go with me?
