Alice cried and cried, and the tears around her turned into a deep pool. A few minutes later she heard footsteps and saw the white rabbit. He was holding a fan and a pair of white gloves. The rabbit looked worried and didn't notice Alice.

"Oh, the Duchess will be angry! I'm late!"said rabbit.

"Sorry," said Alice.

The rabbit turned and saw Alice. He screamed, dropping his fan and gloves, and ran away.

Alice picked up her fan and gloves and said, "God! How strange everything is today!"

Suddenly she found herself very young again. "This fan makes me smaller!"she said and threw it on the floor. "Now I can go through the door!"She ran to the door, but it was locked, and the key was again on the table. Alice tried to climb the table but fell and landed in the pool of water. "What?"she said. "I'm at sea?"But it wasn't the sea. "These are the tears I cried when I was big!"said Alice. That's when she saw that she was not alone in the pool. It had a mouse, a duck, a Dodo, a young eagle and many other strange creatures. Alice and the animals began to swim, and soon found themselves at the pool of tears.
