I am going to write a few words about a book I have recently read. The book is wirtten by the great Russian writer Alexander Pushkin. The title of the book is "The Captain's Daughter".

It is a historical novel about Pugachev's Rebellion in 1773–1774, during the reign of Catherine the Great. The book tells us a love story of a young Russian army officer, Pyotr Andreyich Grinyov, and captain Ivan Mironov's daughter, Masha. The plot of the book is interesting and there are a lot of humorous and tragic episodes. We see how different can be people's behaviour in difficult situations.
