   My winter holidays were very busy. At first my family and I went to the country to visit my grandparents and to celebrate New Year. I like to go there because there is a beautiful forest and a small river not far from my granny's house. My sister and I went to skate and to ski. It was great.

      And on the 3d of January we went to Kiev by our car. My mother's sister Ann lives in this city and sometimes we visit her. I was very happy to see my aunt and uncle and to play with my little niece.

      I like my winter holidays very much.

 

Мои зимние каникулы были очень насыщенными. Сначала моя семья и я ездили в деревню, навестить моих бабушку и дедушку, чтобы отпраздновать Новый год. Я люблю ездить туда, потому что там есть красивый лес и маленькая речка недалеко от дома моей бабушки. Моя сестра и я ходили кататься на коньках и на лыжах. Это было здорово.
       А 3 января мы отправились в Киев на нашей машине. Сестра моей мамы Анна  живет в этом городе, и иногда мы навещаем ее. Я была очень рада видеть мою тетю и дядю и играть с моей маленькой племянницей.
       Мне очень понравились мои зимние каникулы.

My winter holidays began a few days before the New Year and lasted two weeks, it seems that this is a lot, but in fact, as always, the weekend passes in one breath. I went to buy a Christmas tree with my father, at the same time we also bought various ornaments. The main event was that during these days it was snowing and it was very beautiful, even fabulous.

Like any child, I was insanely happy with the snow. We have a place in the city, called "mound", when snow falls all the children of the city go there to ride a sled. My friends and I loved this place, since the frosts were not strong, we went for walks almost every day. We made snowmen, played snowballs, sledged, until they froze, if the frost started to win us, we went to the nearest store to eat buns and drink coffee.

These were unforgettable walks, but this is not all that I did on vacation. A few days after the New Year, a mother's sister came to visit with her husband and daughter. We gave them a tour of the winter city, and also went to the circus, who came with a new program, and also went to the cinema for an interesting cartoon. Soon the guests left, which meant that the holidays were coming to an end. Therefore, I began to repeat the material I had covered, to learn poetry and read works in advance, so that later it would be easier.

Despite the fact that I spent the holidays at home, it was very fun, the weather was good. I had time and spend time with relatives, with friends, to visit interesting places in the city, as well as to tighten up my studies. Like every schoolboy, now I will wait for a new vacation and try to finish with honors a new semester.
