i’d like to tell you about a book by a russian novelist, nikolai gogol. it’s called “the government inspector”. it’s a satirical play. i’ve recently read this book in my literature lessons.
let me tell you a bit about this book. the action takes place in a small provincial town. the main character is khlestakov. he’s a young man who is silly and broke. but he’s a very self-loving man. he tells lies with pleasure. khlestakov has careless a fantasy. he arrives in the town and is mistaken for the government inspector.
as you can imagine, the plot is very interesting and funny. the comedy shows human stupidity and greed. also the problems of society are shown there.
Sam was both anxious and excited when he left the house. because he forgot whether he had turned off the iron without thinking for a long time, Sam went back into the house and saw that the iron was actually turned off. after that, Sam came up with a life hack before leaving the house, he writes down what is turned off and what is turned on so that when he is far from home, he does not worry about leaving something on. after that, he told his friends about it and they thanked Sam because he is their best friend.
