have - это иметь, обладать, владеть чем-либо.
А have got - у нас есть, в более широком смысле.
то есть мы можем использовать и have и have got в таких ситуациях
I have/ have got a car. – У меня есть машина.
He has/ has got a big house. – У него есть большой дом.
I have/ have got a lot of books. – У меня есть много книг.
have got более разговорный, have более формальный
и + мы НЕ можем употребить have got в таких случаях
have a good time – хорошо проводить время
have breakfast – завтракать
have coffee – пить кофе
have a shower – принимать душ

At the end of a hard, stressful day, I, like all teenagers, sit on the Internet, leaf through the pages of friends
