Sorry, this is my first letter after the holidays, but
I haven't got much free time. The shop is often full
in the afternoons, so I have to help mum. And I'm
going to help Dad next Sunday morning, too. Dilip
usually works in the shop then. But he's not going to
be here next Sunday
he's got a football match in
Bath. That's why I'm writing this letter now. I had
a wonderful time in New York with Jay. He's going
to visit us next year, he says. I hope so. I'm going to
send you my pictures of New York on a CD. Then you
can look at them all on Uncle Amit's computer. When
are you going to come to Bristol again? we're doing
a project on clothes and fashion at school "Clothes
without money". My partner is a new girl in our form.

How's life in Delhi? Is it still very hot and wet? Are you
going to stay at home for the rainy season?

I would like to tell you a horrible story. One night it seemed to me
that there was someone besides me in my room. I opened my eyes and saw a
woman's shade at the window . She was very tall, thin and she stretched out her
arms to me. I was scared and I screamed so loud as I could. I was sitting on
the bed and crying. Suddenly my parents ran into my room. They were very
frightened. Dad turned on the light, and I stopped screaming. It turned out
that in the afternoon, my mother brought a huge palm tree in a large pot from
the hall into my room and she put it behind the curtains. That night there was
full moon, and it seemed to me that it was a woman... I have never been so bad as that night..

C Мадлен Годдард (Великобритания) Я сдал тест на карьеру, когда еще учился в старшей школе.  Тест сказал мне кое-что, что я уже знал: мне нравятся испытания и я хочу много волнений в жизни.  Я всегда был очень спортивным и, поговорив с консультантом, решил изучать физкультуру (PE) в университете.  Когда я закончил курс, я устроился учителем физкультуры в местную среднюю школу.  Мне очень нравилось работать с подростками и заниматься множеством разных видов спорта.  Но, к сожалению, моя работа оказалась довольно скучной, потому что все физические нагрузки выполняли студенты!  Потом кто-то предложил мне стать каскадером в киноиндустрии.  Я подал заявку, и они приняли мою заявку!  Я выполняю трюки уже три года, и я все еще люблю прыгать из самолетов и все другие опасные вещи, которые я делаю в фильмах, в которых я снимаюсь. Я бы не стал менять свою работу ни на какие деньги мира!
