Kiev is one of the oldest cities in Ukraine. This is the capital of my homeland. The exact date of its foundation is unknown, however, according to archaeologists, it appeared in the 6-7th century AD. According to an old legend, it was founded by three brothers - Kiy, Schek and Khoriv, as well as their sister Lebed. Kiev became the cradle, a kind of center, from which the powerful state of Kievan Rus arose.
