2. Shakespeare's plays are also wonder-
fully interesting. In his plays he could write equally well funny scenes and scenes of
fear and excitement. His historic works tell the stories of the early English kings: of
poor Richard II, clever Henry IV and brave Henry V. Others tell the tragic stories of
the ancient world: about the murder of Julius Caesar, about the Roman general Mark
Antony. Other plays tell the tales of imaginary characters: of Othello, who murdered
his wife after listening to the lies of an evil man. William Shakespeare was born more
than four hundred years ago, but his plays are still performed and will be performed
for many years to come.​

Через месяц котята подросли, открыли глазки и стали бегать по всей квартире. Сюзанна никак не могла собрать их всех сообща. Она мяукала и звала их к себе. Но они подходили к своей маме только тогда, когда хотели кушать. Я очень люблю свою кошку.

Most of all she loves her mother. Last year our cat had kittens, two boys and three girls, they were all colored. When they were born, you were blind and could not walk more. A month later, the kittens grew up, opened his eyes and began to run around the entire apartment. Suzanne could not bring them all together. She mewed and called them to himself. But they came to his mother only when they wanted to eat. I love my cat.

I don't like ghost stories because when I read such stories it seems to me that a ghost walks somewhere in our house or watches me. That's why I don't enjoy reading ghost stories though I understand perfectly well that ghosts don't exist in reality. But still I'm afraid of seeing a ghost at night in my dream after reading a ghost story.
Я не люблю истории о призраках, потому что, когда я читаю такие истории, мне кажется, что призрак где-то ходит по нашему дому и наблюдает за мной.
