When you’re writing an essay discussing advantages and disadvantages, organise your ideas according to the plan below. Write in a formal style. Do not use short forms or abbreviations.

INTRODUCTION

Introduce the subject of the essay and both sides of the topic.

MAIN PART (2 PARAGRAPHS)

Present the advantages in one paragraph and the disadvantages in another paragraph. Cover both sides of the topic equally. Use linking words/phrases:

To list points: firstly, first of all, to begin with, secondly, also, in addition, what is more, finally,

lastly, etc.

To express contrast: however, on the one hand, on the other hand, etc.

CONCLUSION

Make a general statement. Use phrases like:

In conclusion,...

To sum up,...

State your opinion if you want to. Use phrases like:

In my opinion,...

Personally, I believe...

I (definitely) think...

In my view,...

Use the table to organise your ideas:

My Household Duties (1)

This is my last year at school, and I work hard to pass my final exams successfully. As I am very busy, I can't help my parents much in keeping the house.

But still I have some household duties. Every day I do my room and my bed, wash up dishes, dust the furniture and usually go to the baker's after I have dinner.

I buy some brown and white bread, biscuits and cakes there. The shop is not far from our house and it doesn't take me long to do everyday shopping.

Once a v/eek I help my mother to do all other work about the house. We wash our linen, iron and mend it, clean the flat. We beat the dust out of the carpets, vacuum the floors and polish them. It's not difficult to keep the flat tidy if you do your rooms regularly. This is my usual round of duties. But sometimes I have some other things to do.

When my mother is ill or away from home, I do the cooking and the washing up, the buying of food and the planning of meals. I am not a good cook, but my vegetable soup is always tasty. I can also boil an egg or fry some meat. I also lay the table and clear away the dishes. If I'm too busy or can't do these things, all the duties are organized among other members of our family.

Sometimes I have to visit everyday services: hairdresser's, shoemaker's, tailor's, dry-cleaner's, photographer's. At the hairdresser's I have my hair cut and waved. At the shoemaker's I have my shoes and boots repaired, at the photographer's I have my photos taken. Service is generally good, but in some cases it leaves much to be desired.

My brother has his own duties at home. He helps to fix and repair some things. For example, he repairs electrical appliances when they are out of order. He has already repaired our mother's electric iron, my desk lamp and his own shaver.

Last year I was at my grandparents. They are elderly people and need care and attention. During my stay there, I swept the floors and washed them, fed the chickens, collected the eggs and weeded the vegetable-beds. I don't know how to milk the cow but I helped to feed the other animals: lambs, sheep and pigs. I enjoyed this work very much.

 

Мои обязанности по дому (1)

Я последний год учусь в школе и усердно работаю, чтобы сдать успешно выпускные экзамены. Так как я очень занята, я не могу много родителям по дому.

Однако у меня все-таки есть определенные домашние обязанности. Каждый день я убираю мою комнату и постель, мою посуду, протираю мебель от пыли и после обеда обычно хожу в булочную.

Я покупаю немного черного и белого хлеба, печенье и пирожные. Магазин находится недалеко от нашего дома, и у меня уходит мало времени на ежедневные покупки.

Раз в неделю я маме выполнять другую работу по дому. Мы стираем белье, гладим и чиним его, убираем в квартире. Мы выбиваем ковры от пыли, пылесосим пол и полируем его. Не трудно содержать квартиру в порядке, если ты убираешь систематически. Это обычный круг моих обязанностей. Но иногда мне надо делать другую работу.

Когда мама больна или ее нет дома, я готовлю еду и мою посуду, покупаю продукты и составляю меню. Я не очень хорошо готовлю, но мой овощной суп всегда вкусный. Я могу также сварить яйцо и пожарить немного мяса, накрыть на стол и убрать посуду. Если я слишком занята, то я не могу все это делать сама, и все обязанности распределяются между членами нашей семьи.

Иногда мне нужно сходить в парикмахерскую, мастерскую по ремонту обуви, в швейную мастерскую, в химчистку, к фотографу. В парикмахерской я подстригаюсь и завиваю волосы. В обувной мастерской чиню туфли и ботинки, в фотоателье я фотографируюсь. Обслуживание в общем хорошее, но в некоторых случаях оно оставляет желать лучшего.

У моего брата свои обязанности по дому. Он установить или починить некоторые вещи, например, он чинит электроприборы, когда они в неисправности. Он уже починил мамин утюг, мою настольную лампу и свою бритву.

В году я была у бабушки и дедушки. Они пожилые люди и нуждаются в заботе и внимании. Во время своего пребывания там я подметала и мыла полы, кормила цыплят, собирала яйца, пропалывала грядки. Я не знаю, как доить корову, но я кормить других животных: ягнят, овец, поросят. Мне очень понравилась эта работа. 
 

В Москве большое население и больше дорог. Валуцки находятся возле Украины а значит отличаться акцент и манера разговора. Поскольку в Москве больше транспорта то и воздух более заряженный и это плохо для крови. Но в валуйках меньше работы и развлечений
