A new shopping centre (1) (has been built) in Morton. It (2)  ( started) three years ago and this time last week it (3) (was still being painted). The opening should have been last month, but it (4) (was'had been delayed) until the centre was ready. The centre (5) (was finally finished) two days ago, and yesterday it (6) (was opened) by the town mayor. The building is very unusual and (7) (was designed) by Dan Farley, one of the best young architects in the UK. It has many shops, restaurants and a cinema, and (8) (is used) by people from as far away as Denby. A centre like this (9) (has/had been needed) in Moreton for a long time and (10) (is welcomed) by the local people.
