According to The Irreplaceables: Understanding the Real Retention Crisis in America’s Urban Schools, a report published by TNTP, “When a top teacher leaves [an average school], only 1 in 6 potential replacements will be of similar quality…When a top teacher leaves [a low-performing school] only 1 in 11 potential replacements will be of similar quality.”iv Measuring School Quality: A Perspective from Boston Teachers Research demonstrates that the retention of effective teachers is a critical component of school and student success. 1 2 When effective teachers leave a school, student achievement can suffer, and the schools that suffer most are the ones that are already lagging behind. A key study concluded, “Teacher turnover has a significant and negative effect on student achievement...Moreover, teacher turnover is particularly harmful to students in schools with large populations of low-performing and black students.”v Numerous studies, along with our own teaching experiences, have shown that highly effective teachers are more likely to stay at schools that offer a collaborative environment, opportunities for professional growth and – a factor that can make or break all aspects of a school’s functionality – strong leadership..

Music... It seems to me that all people like to listen to different music in some moments of their life. We hear music everywhere: in the street, in the cinema,  and on TV at home. A lot of people like to dance to music or to sing something,or to play music instruments and even to compose music pieces themselves. There are music lessons at school and kindergartens. Many capable children can learn at music schools if they are fond of music. Music accompanies people all their life. It reflects their feelings and emotions. Some people prefer visiting opera and ballet theatres, a lot of people visit different kinds of concerts but both theatres and concerts make a great impression on spectators. There are different styles in music: folk, classical and modern and most of them are popular in our country.

In my opinion it is difficult to live without music, music is really something that distracts people from daily routine.

Музыка... Мне кажется, что все люди любят слушать разную музыку в какие-то моменты своей жизни. Мы слышим музыку везде: и на улице, и в кинотеатре, и по телевизору дома. Многие любят танцевать под музыку или что-то петь, играть на музыкальных инструментах и даже сочинять музыку самостоятельно. В школе и детских садах проводятся уроки музыки. Многие дети могут учиться в музыкальных школах, если они любят музыку.

Музыка сопровождает людей всю жизнь. Она отражает их чувства и эмоции. Некоторые посещают театры оперы и балета , многие посещают различные концерты и, как театры, так и концерты, производят большое впечатление на зрителей. Есть разные виды музыки: народная, классическая и современная, и большинство из них популярны в нашей стране. По моему мнению, трудно жить без музыки; музыка - это действительно то, что отвлекает людей от повседневной рутины.
