Артикль a (an) используется только перед исчисляемыми существительными единственного числа — т.е. перед такими, где можно мысленно сказать один.

Но почему то мне показалось что вы спросишь про an,а не про an.
Ведь связи между an и some нету.

Местоимения Any и Some являются определителями. Они используются, когда речь идет о неопределенных количествах, числах, в тех случаях, когда точное количество или число не важны. Главным образом, Some используется в повествовательных предложениях, а Any – в вопросительных и отрицательных. На русский язык Some и Any, как правило, не переводятся.

Last year I and my parents had a rest in Turkey in the beautiful city called Kemer. It is a marvellous city! There are lots of recreational facilities there as well as a great number of different shops where everyone can choose a thing of his or her choice to buy. There are all sorts of musical venues like little jazz bars all over the city. We have visited lots of museums there, most of them had ancient things on display including ceramics, armament and clothing that Turkish people wore 200 years ago.
