Выявить и выписать атрибутивные группы Technology in Education - Higher Education
Colleges and universities have generally been quick to adopt new technologies, often even before their educational value has been proven. Throughout its history, higher education has experimented with technological advances as diverse as the blackboard and the personal computer. Some technologies have become permanent parts of the higher education enterprise. Others, such as the slide rule and the 16-millimeter movie projector, have been replaced as more sophisticated or more cost-effective technologies have emerged to take their place.
At the dawn of the twenty-first century, new and rapidly improving technologies are in the process of transforming higher education. Each year since 1994, the Campus Computing Survey has shown increased use in college classrooms of technology-dependent resources such as e-mail, the Internet, course web pages, and computer simulations. Technology has the potential to revolutionize the traditional teaching and learning process. It can eliminate the barriers to education imposed by space and time and dramatically expand access to lifelong learning. Students no longer have to meet in the same place at the same time to learn together from an instructor. Fundamentally, modern technologies have the ability to change the conception of a higher education institution. No longer is a higher education institution necessarily a physical place with classrooms and residence halls where students come to pursue an advanced education.
Computers and telecommunications are the principal technologies reshaping higher education. Due to advances in each of these domains, electronic mail, fax machines, the World Wide Web, CDROMs, and commercially developed simulations and courseware are altering the daily operations and expanding the missions of colleges and universities

Internet . This is the first thing that comes to mind when talking about today's youth. And if it was a question of teenagers , 13 -17 -year-olds , they are a few hours to spend the day on the Web. Easily recall the stories of my friends who come to school barely alive and tell how all night long competed in computer games. However, not all and not always carried out in a mode «Online». On the Internet, many are for the sake of communicating with people. Communicate and adolescents in school after her, walking around town , sitting porches , coming to visit each other . It can be a great company of 20-30 people , but often only two or three people who share a close location , common interests. Often in large companies all have fun : can and drink and smoke. But then , after graduation, people disagree . In the same small friendly unions situation more trusting , intimate. Yes, modern teenagers rarely look in the library , but it does not mean that they do not read . In the same Internet download many novels and share experiences on social networks. Many of my friends go to different clubs . This is not a sewing course or meeting poets, both in the Soviet Union. Most often it is singing or dancing, aerobics, fitness, gym. Yes , teenagers involved in sports , but not for the sake of longevity and health . All for beauty and figure . Talk about teenage alcoholism , drug addiction, smoking. What had not smoked, did not drink ? Do not judge the younger generation only negatively , all wrong stupidity and inexperience . The main thing - time to recover .

Arctic Monkeys - British indie rock band formed in 2002 in High Green , a suburb of Sheffield. Currently, the group consists of vocalist and guitarist Alex Turner , guitarist Jamie Cook , drummer Matt Helders and bassist Nick O'Malley, who replaced the previously played in a band Andy Nicholson. Arctic Monkeys have achieved major success in the charts ( especially in the UK ) are already with their first single «I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor»; their debut album , «Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not», went on sale January 23, 2006 , became the best-selling debut album in British music history . Such a success, given the skeptical attitude of group members to the music industry and their unwillingness to enter into a contract with a major label , largely due to the active dissemination of their demos fans via the Internet, especially through P2P and social networks. Arctic Monkeys became one of the first groups that have achieved great success without the support of traditional media such as radio and television, thus demonstrating effectiveness of this method of promoting new music. Currently, the group publishes a record on an independent label «Domino Records».
