What about lesson times and holidays? The school year lasts from 1st September to the end of May.
There are three short holidays, and a three-month holiday in
the summer. Lessons are from about 8:30 am to 3 pm, from
Monday to Friday. But it can vary with different schools and
regions.

What about school subjects?
All students do Russian, history, maths and literature. There
are other subjects, too. Foreign languages are important
especially English. It's my favourite! We start it in year 2.

Most schools have got a uniform, others haven't got one. I
