Ann- Hello, recently my parents and I went to travel to another country. It was a great trip! Do you like travelling? Daria- Yes, of course I like travelling! I think it`s wonderful to get to know a new culture or meet new interesting people. Ann- Where have you been? Daria-I was in Australia, in Thailand, in Vietnam and in Egypt. Ann-Which country did you like most? Daria-I liked Australia. There are a lot of exotic fruits and animals in Australia. Ann-What type of travel do you prefer? The surface of England and Ireland is rather flat while the highland area comprises Scotland and most of Wales. The highest mountain in the United Kingdom is Ben Nevis in Scotland (1343 m.). The rivers are not very long but they are deep. The chief rivers are the Severn (220 miles) and the Thames (215 miles). The Thames flows through London, and makes it a large sea port, though London is 84 kms away from the sea.
