Ну а почему бы и нет, ведь есть же актуальность в установке дополнительной камеры заднего вида на автомобили. А более совершенные научные аппараты имеют вообще круговой обзор всего пространства вокруг себя.

Ну ведь только подумать, это ж как удобно - оценивать обстановку и впереди и сзади, читать и смотреть телевизор.
Тут только другой нюанс - хватит ли у человеческого мозга "оперативной памяти" для обработки информации получаемой еще и от зрительного органа на затылке..) Особенно если учесть что зрение дает 80% всей информации, и это только два глаза!
