The main element of men's traditional costume Armenian — shirt with a low collar and wide trousers, strapped at the bottom of winding wide.Eastern Armenians over the shirt wore arhaluk — wing short coat, which were girdled by a wide sash. Wealthy people wore patterned belt made of solid silver links. The Western Armenians instead of arhiloha were distributed over short and open vests and jackets.

The upper robes have been various types of caftans, definitely fitted and flared from the waist with narrow sleeves, stand collar or no collar at all. Most often outerwear was dark, but the nobility — white or light gray. Top coat definitely girdled and often decorated with trim.

Основной элемент мужского традиционного костюма армянина-рубашка с низким воротником и широкие брюки, стянутые внизу широкой обмоткой.

Восточные армяне поверх рубахи носили архалук-крылатый короткий кафтан, который подпоясывали широким кушаком. Богатые люди носили узорчатый пояс из цельных серебряных звеньев. Западные армяне вместо архилохов были распределены по коротким и открытым жилетам и курткам.

Верхние одежды были различными типами кафтанов, определенно приталенных и расклешенных от талии с узкими рукавами, воротником-стойкой или вообще без воротника. Чаще всего верхняя одежда была темной, а вот у знати — белой или светло-серой. Верхний слой обязательно подпоясан и часто украшен отделкой.
