Часто вс глагол do (does) и отрицательная частица not «сливаются» и употребляются в сокращённой форме – don’t (doesn’t).

Anthony is my brother – Энтони является моим братом.

Anthony is not my brother, he is my best friend – Энтони не является моим братом, он мой лучший друг.

Отрицательная форма глагола to have (иметь) образуется двумя с вс глагола do (does) с отрицательной частицей not (do not have/does not have) или без него. Во втором случае частица not присоединяется к самому глаголу (have not/has not).
