As i (look) for her ,i (notice) that Melissa (lie) under the sofa! She (sleep) there for a while before i (find) her. As it (turn out),she (hide) there as a joke but she (fall asleep) instead

As I was looking for her , I noticed that Melissa was lying  under the sofa! She had been sleeping there for a while before I found her. As it turned out,she had been hiding there as a joke but she fell asleep instead
