I have recently seen an amazing movie and here I would like to express my opinion on it. So, the movie is called "The Lord of the rings" and it is a fantasy type of film. The director of the film is Peter Jackson. A number of great actors are starring in the film. The most famous among them are Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Ian McKellen and Liv Tyler.
I would say the plot of the film is rather complicated. The story hovers around an ancient magic ring that has enormous power. The boy who accidentally got the ring had to make an agreement with all kingdom's representatives to get it to the tower situated far away to destroy the ring. But all forces of evil led by their dark lords named Sauron and Saruman try to take the ring away from the boy's hands. The boy is named Frodo and he is accompanied by his closest friend Sam on his journey to the tower. They have to go through many mysterious places and fight with lots of enemies on their way.
In my opinion, all actors showed perfect acting. Taking into account the fact that the film lasts for two hours and a half I think that it was not easy for them to perform so brilliantly during such a long time, but they did! The music was impeccable too, there were a lot of beautiful soundtracks matching special effects. As to the special effects, I can say that they were the most spectacular and breathtaking ones I have ever seen! Apart from this, I enjoyed the backgrounds against which the film was shot. Mountains, rivers, moving rocks, thick forests, - all these places made me fascinated while I was watching the movie. And there were a lot of strange and a little bit eccentric costumes worn by the main characters which added some suspense to the film. The ending of the film was rather positive, promising another unpredictable development of the situation.
All in all, my verdict is the movie is perfectly scripted, has good acting and the plot makes plenty of sense. I would strongly recommend it to people of all age groups as an entertaining and exciting film.
