These days many teenagers play computer games. Some people tend to think though that this activity is just a waste of time, and not very productive. Therefore most parents ban their students from using their computer, and tell them to do more productive and better activites, such as reading, doing one's homework, chores, and other things. Of course, teenagers rebel against this, for it is much more boring compared to the fun that they experience while playing computer games. But although playing them is fun, it also has its negative effects. Teenager's attention span becomes more shortened, they tend to become more lazy, and turn into couch potatos who don't want to work or do much.
So although playing computer games is fun, it should be controlled and one should understand that they are other things that need to be done.
