There was a wonderful winter day. The sun was shining through the clouds and could see the islands of the blue sky.Dan and Martin decided to go ice skating on the lake near their home . Dan's mom would not let her son one skate, but together it was quite safe.The two friends were skating well and having a great time on the lake. They rode for about an hour , and Martin had gone ahead , when the ice cracked , and Dan fell into the water.Martin tried to save his friend alone. He took off his scarf from his neck and threw it to Dan . Dan grabbed the scarf and Martin pulled his friend out of the water .Fortunately, someone saw what happened and called the emergency services . At a time when the ambulance arrived , the boys have got to the shore of the lake and stood there , shivering from the cold. Rescuers have covered the boys blankets to warm them , and sent them to the hospital.Fortunately, all ended well .
