Who has done it is unknown. Кто это сделал, неизвестно.

I do not know which of them speaks French. Я не знаю, кто из них говорит по-французски.

That is not what I want. Это не то, что я хочу.

Примечание. Относительное местоимение what часто переводится на русский язык посредством то что.

Для связи определительных придаточных предложений с главным употребляются местоимения who со значением который (whom которого), whose которого, which и that со значением который, которого:

The man who is sitting next to Mr. A. is my English teacher. Человек, который сидит рядом с г-ном А., мой преподаватель английского языка.

The watch that I lost was a very good one. Часы, которые я потерял, были очень хорошие.

На английском :

Relative pronouns are used to associate subordinate clauses with the principal. They are allied words, which differ from alliances in that they not only associate the subordinate clause with the principal, but are also members of the subordinate clause.

For communication between the subordinate clauses of the subject, predicate and complementary with the main one, pronouns are used: who who (whom whom), whose whose, what who, what, which which, what, who, what. They are thus the same interrogative pronouns, but not used for the question, but for the connection of sentences):

Who has done it is unknown. Who did it is unknown.

I do not know. I do not know which of them speak French.

That is not what I want. This is not what I want.

Note. The relative pronoun which is often translated into Russian by what.

For the connection of definitive subordinate clauses with the main pronouns are who with the meaning of which (whom), whose, which and that with the meaning of which, of which:

The man who is sitting next to Mr. A. is my English teacher. The person who sits next to Mr. A. is my English teacher.

The watch that I lost was a very good one. The hours I lost were very good.

If it is cool, I wear a sweater, jeans, boots.

If it is snowy, it's time for an overcoat, a scarf, a sweater, trousers, high boots and gloves.

If it is sunny and hot I wear a T-shirt, shorts, sandals.

In the countryside I wear a light dress and sandals.

If I'm on holidays, it has to be something comfortable , for example, shorts and a top, sneakers.

If I'm hanging out with my friends, I wear a T-shirt, jeans and trainers.

Here are the basics of what I usually wear: jeans , trousers, a jumper, a T-shirt, a jacket, shoes.

When it comes to footwear, I prefer sneakers and trainers.

My favourite pieces of clothing are: jeans and T-shirts.
