А что тут сложного-то?
Если нужна сравнительная степень прилагательного/наречия, ставь окончание -er в коцне этого прилагательного/наречия. Если прилагательное/наречие длинное или, по твоему мнению, будет некрасиво звучать, если добавить "er" в конце прилагательного\наречия как "intelligent", "comfortable" и др., то перед этим прилагательным/наречие ставить "more", но "er" в конце прилагательного/наречия не ставится.

Если нужна превосходная степень, то нужно всегда знать, что перед ней в самом начале должно стоять "the": "the best", "the worst", "the darkest", а на конце окончание -est, А если же слово длинное и, по твоему мнению, оно будет некрасиво звучать, если на конец поставить "est", то после "the" ставь "most", а прилагательное\наречие будет в обычном виде, то есть на его конце не будет "est".
