Jordan Romero, a resident of Big Bear, California, became the youngest person to climb Mount Everest on May 23, 2010.

It surpassed the previous record set by 16-year-old Nepalese resident Temba Tsheri.

Romero called his mother on a satellite phone from over 8,800 meters.

Every morning we go to school and have 5 or 6 lessons.

For some people it`s a place where you learn people as well as subjects. For others, school is a place where it`s fun with mates and boring lessons.

So we can say, school has advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, school has advantages.

Firstly, pupils develop their mind and imagination. Secondly, we have interesting school traditions and can make a lot of friends.

On the other hand, school has disadvantages. Firstly, we have no time for hobbies and sport because of large homework. Also we have some boring lessons and sometimes have problems with marks.

As for me, I think there are more advantages than disadvantages. I have many friends at school and I study interesting subjects. My favourite subject is English. I think, it’ll help me in future.
