For what do I learn English?

My name is Ekaterina. I’m thirteen years old. I’ve been studying English since I was eight. Nobody made me, it was my decision. Now I know English pretty well. I have a lot of friends from different countries and I began to learn English to talk to them easily. I like to read very much and I would like to read some classical works of English authors in the original. It is interesting and absorbing reading. Reading English books I improve my memory and my pronunciation of English words becomes better. Pupils who speak English well have more opportunities to enter prestigious university. I want to achieve much in my life and that’s why English is necessary for me. I like travelling and when I grow up I want to visit many countries. English is considered one of the international languages.

Зачем я изучаю английский язык

Меня зовут Екатерина. Мне 13 лет. С восьми лет я занимаюсь изучением английского языка. Меня никто не заставлял, это было моё решение. Сейчас я уже сносно владею языком. У меня очень много друзей из разных стран и чтобы с ними легче было общаться я и начала его изучать. Я очень люблю читать и мне хотелось прочитать некоторые классические произведения английских писателей в оригинале. Это очень увлекательное и интересное чтение. Читая на английском, я тренирую память, и у меня закрепляется произношение английских слов. Ученику, который хорошо владеет английским, предоставляется больше возможностей поступить в престижный вуз. Я хочу многого добиться в жизни и поэтому английский мне просто необходим. Я люблю путешествовать, и когда вырасту, хочу посетить много стран. А английский язык относится к языкам, на которых общаются на международном уровне.
