It is far from being lonely now, as you see. The busiest streets, the Stock Exchange, the Bank of England are all concentrated here. London is packed with history. And now we are going to the west of the City to see one of the oldest buildings in London – Westminster, the seat of the government. You can go to the Westminster Bridge to admire a beautiful view of Westminster. This is the royal residence –Buckingham palace. It has been the royal home ever since the days of Queen Victoria.
