I went to the Quebec Winter Carnival this year and it was great! There were lots of 1) FUN things to see and do there. I saw some amazing ice 2) SCULPTURES and went 3)SKATING with my friends. In the centre of the activities there was an ice 4)PALACE that looked like something from a 5) FAIRY tale.

The Quebec Winter Carnival sounds great. This winter, I went to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Every year in December it becomes an ice 6) CITY
People build sculptures of castles, fairy tale characters and 7)ANIMALS. At night, all the sculptures light up with 8)COLOURED lights. It's beautiful!
