Read and answer the question: What was necessary to make a young actor look old?
It was a play which told the story of a family during fifty years. Some characters were young at the beginning, but by the end of the story they of course had to be much older.
A 40-year old man played the main character, the father of the family. In the last act the man looked really old. People who came to the theatre were surprised to see his face and hear his voice that seemed to belong to an 80-year old man. Make-up artists used special paint and powder to make him look like an old man and they gave him white hair.
