The Americans are very proud of their country. They say that in the USA the buildings are taller, the cigars are longer, the cars are bigger, and the girls are prettier than anywhere in the world.
The English do not always agree. Some say the Americans are louder, richer and noisier than any other nationality. Other British people think there are lots of good things about the USA like Hollywood, jazz and Superman. It is true that most American skyscrapers are taller than buildings in the UK, but the British think their stately homes are older and more beautiful than anything in the USA. The Americans love coke and hamburgers – people in the UK think British food is much healthier.
Clothes are cheap in the USA but fashion design in the UK is better than design in the USA.

                                       Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla (25 June 1856) - Serbian-Polish inventor in the field of electrical engineering and radio engineering of Serbian origin, engineer, physicist. Born and raised in Austria-Hungary, in the following years he worked mainly in France and the United States. In 1891, he received US citizenship.AC [edit | edit wiki text]Since 1889, Nikola Tesla began studies of currents of high frequency and high voltage. Invented the first samples of electromechanical HF generators (including the inductor-type) and the high-frequency transformer (Tesla transformer, 1891), thus creating the prerequisites for the development of new electrical engineering - RF technology.
During the high-frequency current research Tesla paid attention to security issues. Experimenting on his body, he studied the effects of alternating currents of varying frequency and strength of the human body. Many rules, first developed by Tesla, entered the modern safety basics when working with high-frequency currents. He found that at the current rate of more than 700 Hz electric current flows through the body surface without causing damage to the body's tissues. Electrical vehicles, Tesla developed for medical research, are widely used in the world.
Experiments with high-voltage large currents have led to the discovery of the inventor of a method for purification of contaminated surfaces. A similar effect of the current on the skin showed that it is thus possible to remove small rash, clean the pores and kill bacteria. This method is used in modern electrotherapy.
