"Wait!"- said Mike’s mom. "Don’t forget to wear your jacket. It

"But mom", said Mike. "I don’t want to wear it. I will be fine without it. Besides, it
(3) that cold today." Mike opened the door.

(6) falling to the ground. He shivered a little and stood behind the door.
"Mike!" - shouted Mike’s mom. "You close that door and get your coat young man."
"But mom!" - said Mike.
"But what?" - said Mike’s mom. "I don’t understand why you don’t want to wear your new coat.

Mike’s face turned red.
"No!" - he said. "Nothing’s wrong with it! Then he covered his mouth with his hand."
"Well then…"- said Mike’s mom. "Why don’t you want to wear it?"
"Well, mom", said Mike. "I kind of…well…gave it away."
"You what?" said Mike’s mom. "You gave it away?"
"Yeah. But don’t worry. It
(8) okay. I gave it to Marvin. And he really needs it."
"Why?"
"Well, every time I see him, he looks cold. He
(9) always cold, actually. His parents cannot afford to buy him a jacket."
"Well, that (10) a very nice thing for you to do, dear. But now what
(11) you going to do without a jacket?"
"I don’t know. Maybe I’ll wear my old jacket for a little while."

I'm going to visit the USA. I would like to visit Denali National Park there because it is really an amazing place.  I'm going to take some nice pics there and to relax. Then I would like to see Niagara Falls. It would be splendid to see this waterfalls!  The last place which I really want to visit is the Grand Canyon. There I can also take a lot of incredible photos. This is one of my favourite places in the USA! In general, I like this country because I like their culture and traditional sport. To my mind there live friendly and kind people in the USA and there are a lot of interesting places to visit and to see the sights there!

Я собираюсь посетить США. Я хотел бы посетить Национальный парк Денали, потому что это действительно удивительное место.  Я собираюсь сделать несколько хороших фотографий и расслабиться. Тогда я хотел бы увидеть Ниагарский водопад. Было бы замечательно увидеть эти водопады!  Последнее место, которое я действительно хочу посетить, - это Большой Каньон. Там я также могу сделать много невероятных фотографий. Это одно из моих любимых мест в США! В общем, мне нравится эта страна, потому что мне нравится их культура и традиционный спорт. На мой взгляд, в США живут дружелюбные и добрые люди и есть много интересных мест, которые интересно посетить и посмотреть достопримечательности!

Thanks for your letter. It was great to hear from you. You ask me about my plans for this summer. Well, I'm going on a trip to the USA in July. I'm going to stay with my distant relatives there. They live in New York. I'd like to see as many landmarks there as possible. First of all, I would like to stroll along  Broadway. Then I'm going to take photos of the famous Statue of Liberty. Later on, I would like to visit the Museum of Modern Art. I would also like to have a rest in Central Park and to go on an excursion to the Empire State Building.  And at last, I would like to see the Times Square and, of course, much more. I hope I'll have a good time in New York.
