I (expected) the rain (to stop) soon, so I (changed) my mind and (ordered) a substantial lunch. I (noticed) many people (doing) the same, so the waiter (had) a lot of work to do. “It (has been raining) for an hour already, but the rain (shows) no sign of stopping. It’s time I (left),” I (thought) and (went out). I (walked) a few steps in a hurry and then (stopped) in surprise. There (was) no rain. All the time I (was sitting) in the bar, there (was) no rain at all!
