Новый год для меня - самый любимый и долгожданный праздник. В преддверие Нового года мною овладевает странное чувство, что должно случиться что-то волшебное и радостное. Повсюду атмосфера праздника, и люди готовятся к его приходу - покупают пышные ели домой, различные фрукты и сладости на стол, и конечно, подарки для своих близких. Для детей, Новый год - это настоящая сказка.
Накануне Нового года мы начинаем готовиться к его празднованию. Украшаем нашу елку и комнаты яркими гирляндами и игрушками, мишурой и разноцветными шарами. Квартира преображается, становится праздничной и еще более уютной.
Каждый год к праздничному столу мама готовит много всего вкусного и необычного. К нам в гости приходят близкие друзья и родственники. Все веселятся, поют и танцуют, участвуют в забавных конкурсах. Ближе к полуночи, выходим на улицу, запускаем салюты и любуемся красивым фейерверком. Повсюду слышны поздравления, восторг и радость от прихода Нового Года. А на утро, я с нетерпением бегу к елке, чтобы узнать какой же подарок мне подарили.

Every year, mom prepares a lot of tasty and unusual things for the festive table. Close friends and relatives come to visit us. Everyone is having fun, singing and dancing, participating in funny contests. Closer to midnight, we go out into the street, launch fireworks and admire the beautiful fireworks. Congratulations, delight and joy from the coming of the New Year are heard everywhere. And in the morning, I impatiently run to the tree to find out what gift they gave me.
