Many people prefer virtual communication and friendship as it does not require exchange of non-verbal signs and emotions, a separate place (room, cafe) for a meeting or a well-defined time schedule. The users of virtual communication can hide truth easier, avoid uncomfortable questions and discussions by a single click of the mouse.  Often, they create their personal profile with a fakes personal data or a photograph of unknown people. It provides more confident and safety to be a person one likes to be. Thus, the virtual space gives a certain freedom from personal complexes such as being shy, for a example.
