  I'd like to describe you my working day. All the days looked very much the same.
   On weekdays I usually get up at 7. I do my morning exercises. Then I wash my face and hands and clean my teeth. At half past seven I am ready to have my breakfast. I like to have a light breakfast. After breakfast I leave for school.
   My school is not far from my house. It takes me 10 minutes to get to school. Lessons begin at 8:30 a.m. and finish at about 3 p. m. Six or seven lessons a day is the ordinary timetable. Twice a week I stay at school after classes to play basketball.
   When  I come home I have dinner. Then I rest a little. Sometimes I read a book or talk to my friends over telephone.
   After that I start doing my home assignments. Twice a week I go to have private lessons in Maths in order to improve my knowledge.
   As a rule, I finish doing my homework at about 9 o'clock. But one day a week is not so busy. This is Thursday. On Thursday 1 usually help my mother. Sometimes I do shopping or pick up clothes at the cleaners.
   I usually have supper at 7 o'clock p. m. Then I go on with my work. At 11 o'clock I go to bed.

The life in this country 50 years ago. 
Let's start with some good news - people live longer nowadays. 

Children and teenagers watch less TV than 50 years ago but they spend five times longer on computers, mainly playing computer games.

On the one hand a 50 year period for the country is not very long but on the other hand great changes have been rapidly taking place in this country since the 70s. What are these changes? First of all I'd like to mention the development of new technologies in modern society, for example wireless connection, appearance of the mobile phones. For people from that time it was fantastic but for all of us it's quite an ordinary thing today. Then we can't stand mentioning  the Internet that is a necessary thing almost everywhere nowadays and it's difficult to imagine how people lived, worked and studied without computers at that time.
The bad news is the difference between the rich and the poor people. It was much less 50 years ago. But on average, people live now longer:  for 78 years (75 for men and 80 for women). It's because now more people try to follow a healthy lifestyle. More people see smoking as a bad health habit; only a quarter of the population smokes compared to 50 years ago. People eat more fruit and vegetables now and less fat.(But still many people are seriously overweight.) 
To my mind, on the whole the life in this country  became more complicated than it was 50 years ago, but more challenging and interesting.
