I want to tell you about my favorite sport — basketball. Many people think that only people with above-average height can study in the section. But this is not true — everyone is taken there, but the most promising ones are chosen for the competition.
All my life I have enjoyed physical education and loved to play outdoor games. Basketball is a wonderful sport that develops a person's reaction speed, dexterity and coordination of movements. And the endurance, the ability to concentrate and the flexibility of the muscles become much better.
The game took me literally right away. After the competition, I never feel very tired, and injuries to me and my friends are very rare. I am also grateful to basketball for teaching me how to play on a team. As much as I would like to be a striker, but if my physical abilities allow me to be a good defender, then I will be one, because it is better for everyone.
Playing basketball gives me a sense of joy from my own achievements. At first I wasn't very good at throwing the ball, but now I, a teenager, easily beat the adults in the summer beach games. And I really like to hear them compliment me on how great I am at basketball.
I am very happy that this wonderful game once entered my life. During this time, I became taller, more resilient, and more confident. In addition, I have wonderful friends, with whom it is so great to enjoy our victories.
