Now is the century of developing technologies. So more and more schools can suggest their pupils to be taught online. Is this a good option or not? I am going to speculate about this issue below.
Learning online has a lot of benefits. First of all there is no need to waste time on public transport. It is really tiring and at the end of the day you are completely exhausted. Secondly, online studying trains discipline because there are usually special learning platforms where all the tasks are fulfilled. So, all tests and exercises have their deadlines. If you are overdue, you just lose your chance to get your points.
However, being home schooled has cons too. To begin with I would like to say that people may lose their ability to communicate with each other face to face. They will get more unsocial and quiet. It is a very widespread problem nowadays because of social media usage, and online studies may just stir the pot. Secondly, spending so much time in front of computer or smartphone screen will make no good to our health. Who wants their eyes to be ruined? I guess nobody does.
To summarize I would like to say that for me pros overweight cons. I have nothing against teaching and learning online. I think we should adjust to the new possibilities that today’s world provides us with.
