In my opinion zoos are bad!
Animals suffer in cages, beat them, as they lack freedom. No natural conditions for life. Taking animals from the most distant countries, thousands of animals die in stuffy cabins of cars. In zoos small spaces, nowhere to run! 
But, zoos instill in children love for animals. It is very good, children from an early age begin to communicate with animals. Many animals like to communicate with people.
