Everybody likes summer holidays. So do I.I always have a lot of fun in summer.My parents and I went to the seaside.We stayed in a hotel.It was 5 minutes walk from the beach.Every morning we went to the beach when there wasn't a storm.I swam a lot.I made new friends there.We often played volleyball on the beach and bathed together.My dad often joined us when we played with a ball in the sea.It was fantastic! I spent the rest of my holidays in my grandparents' country house.It was not worse than holidays at the sea.I met my friends there.We rode bikes,sunbathed on the river bank,swam in the river and communicated with each other.I wish holidays were all year round!

Last year, I travelled to Mali to witness first hand the ancient Tuareg way of life in the Sahara Desert in north and west Africa I was immediately struck by the bright indigo veis worn by, I assumed, the women of this tribe. sat fascinated as Yousseff showed me the ancient script of the Tuareg's language which can be written from right left, left to right or top to bottom. Unfortunately, as water holes are drying up and animals are dying because of recent droughts, many Tuareg are now migrating to cities. "We are seeing the beginning of the end of the Tuareg way of life," Yousseff told me, sadly.
