My favourite video film is “Titanic”. It tells the story of a famous ship, the “Titanic”, which sank in 1912. The “Titanic” was a colossal ship even by modern standards. Its tragic sinking will always be remembered, for the ship went down on the first voyage with heavy losses.

The director of the film is James Cameron. The main parts in the film are played by young actors Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslet. To my mind their acting is superb. The camerawork is fantastic, too. I’ve heard that they made a full-size model of the “Titanic” for this film.

It’s a very spectacular film. It is also a moving love-story. I advise all my friends to see “Titanic”. The film was awarded 11 Oscars and I’m sure it deserves every one of them.

AMY: We needed one with a (bigger) boot, to take our sports gear.

JILL: Pluto, isn't it? I know it's (far) away from the sun.

FRED: So, you've passed?
GEORGE: Yes, I have.
FRED: Congratulations! That's (the best) news I've heard for ages!
MARY: Which is (the highest / mountain in) Africa?
ANNE: I'm not sure. Kilimanjaro, perhaps?
MARY: Where's that? In Zambia?
ANNE: No, it's (farther to the / north) that. Kenia I think.

4. EDDY: We'd better go to the bank this morning.
SEAN: Can't we go (later)?
EDDY: No. They shut (earlier / here than) they do at home.

5. WILL: Hurry up! We'll miss the train. Can't you run (faster)?
PETE: Sorry, I'm going (as fast as) I can already.
WILL: OK. I guess you're quite a bit (shorter than / me), after all.

6. CHRIS: I hear you were having problems with your business last year. Is it (better) this year?
JODIE: No. I'm afraid it's (worse) if anything.
CHRIS: I suppose people just aren't spending (more money) they used to.
